The guy from the job offer called me several times today. While working, I can’t bring my hp together or take calls.
I called him back after lunch. He was either not around or the general line was engaged.
I had to look around to check if any1 - nearby promoter or customer was around. Kwai kwai shh shh… shhhh… :) Didn’t want others to eavesdrop on my conversation.
Finally managed to get thru to him in the late eve & asked him about benefits, terms & conditions. Not bad +
- there are 2 bonuses - performance bonus & 1 month bonus.
- 5 days a week
- probation 3 months
- salary increment annually
The bad?
- working hrs 8.30am - 6! Normal working hrs are supposed to be 9-5. Let’s say tat’s for 6 days, so if we drag 1hr into everyday weekday, working hrs should be 8.30-5.30 only! I know, when the tasks are not finished, 1 has to stay back. But if the tasks were finished b4 5.30pm, I still can’t go home
- personality & attitude. Interviewer already put her words into my mouth. The gay guy sounded like a bad bitch & chuin. Speaking with him earlier (& 1st time), he expected me to grab the job with both hands & feet. Well, employers choose employees. Employees too choose employers. Employers can decide not to choose the interviewed. The interviewed can choose not to take the offer after interview. Fair’s fair.
- transportation time & $. I need to change train from Kommuter to Monorail & Monorail’s $ per trip is almost double my Kommuter trip
- salary. The killstone. “We are offering u so much higher than ur basic. Tat means we are giving more EPF & SOCSO too.” Yeah, pure basic, no OT, no commission.
1 can’t really compare every fine detail. It’s different job after all. But the $’s not much jump.
I’ll tell him/her morrow. B4 or after teeth pull.
