Visiting Car’s mom @ Pantai Hospital

I was asking Car about beauty products & sales, how she was doing. She replied tat her mom was unconscious, in hosp. Shit! How did tat happen? Her mom is 1 high tech lady. She uses the PC to watch DVD tv series! Even my mom needed repeated guides (written & verbal) to open a VCD. Not to say my mom’s high tech. She’s a blur case on gadgets. Need manuals. Lots of them.

So.. back to Car’s mom. She must’ve been very worried. She had several job offers overseas but she didn’t want to leave home coz of her mom.

I informed the other Amoi, we decided to visit her mom/her @ hosp.

Pantai Hospital @ Cheras has 4 floors only. Quite a small hospital. Mostly painted in blue.. Pig walked inside like he knew where Car’s mom was. He went to the toilet. Oooh..

Car’s bf, Bony didn’t go inside the hospital. Everytime he reached the hospital entrance, he kept mumbling, “Smell so terrible. I sick already.” Truly. He stood outside the hospital for 2 hrs the 1st time, the next day he had stomache or sth. Then the next2 day, he MC. He advised, “DON’T BREATHE a lot inside.” :D

Turned out Car tot her mom was hving dengue - she had high fever for days. Once admitted to hospital, her mom couldn’t see already.

When we saw her mom, 1 eyelid was swollen so much tat the inner lid appeared outside. She kept releasing tears but said it wasn’t painful. Mayb she had lots of painkiller already… The tumour from her liver spreaded to her eyes. Luckily, the doc had removed (very little) some of the tumour & she got better.

Car was already very thin, now even thinner than b4. Even when I didn’t go to other hospitals for more opinions, when I went to hospital to accompany mom when she had TB, I too bcame underweight. This Car went to several hospitals to get more opinions on her mom’s eye somemore.

Hope her mom will get better.. :)

Cheras food court

Car said her mom was at Pantai Hospital. I knew it was the 1 near her house.. so I asked colleagues if they knew wat bus to go there.

I: How to go to Pantai Hospital?
Ralph: Oh very easy only. Very near MV maa. U just take metro bus, sure got go. Or LRT. It’s just behind Bangsar.
I: Ya meh?
Ralph: Yes, turn in when u c Maybank.

I: Metro 99 got go Pantai Hospital ar?
Thong: Ha? Pantai? No aaa. Where is it?
I: Cheras.
Thong: 99 only go to PJ area la.

… Luckily, Vampire’s bf Pig (he loves pink pig soft toys) fetched me from MV. He tot it would b very near, after fetching me from MV, he’d turn to Bangsar. Then Vampire told him the hospital was at Cheras. :D

On the way, we saw bright lites at the food court @ Cheras. Stopped there for dinner. I was quite full from treat by mom @ Chili’s during lunch.

We walked around & saw the curry fish looked nice on poster. :) I had ojien (Fried Oyster), Vampire ordered the curry fish, Pig ordered a Chinese soup, 10 sticks of chic satay. Wahhh so $ here! & there are better taste food @ other places! The Ojien had about 10 oysters right in the middle of the fried egg only :( The 1 I had with Niki & YW tasted better & had more oysters! The curry fish was realllllllllly HOT SPICY! Ah! AH! AH!!! :-O

We are determined NOT to go back there in the future.
