Newbie resigned

I had written about this a few days after it happened, which was more than 1 week already but I didn’t post it.

I was late for work. Newbie was even later.

“Where is Newbie?” I asked aloud.

“Resigned already,” Ralph said.

I didn’t believe him.

I asked anyone in the store room if they had his number. There were only Ralph & another part timer.

“No woh,” part timer answered.

“I got. In my handphone,” Ralph answered.

“Can give me his number? I want to call him.”

“Aiya, so stupid. So easy to find his number la,” Ralph chidded me.

WTH! Another bitch working in my co. What a jerk. As if he’s very smart.

I checked the application forms but couldn’t find this Newbie’s. I scrolled the fax/phone for his contact, nothing. Checked the staff info book. Na da.

So I went to the dept store without him – he was following my shift, it was our 1st time in the same shift. By right, I should be the 1 training him but Supervisor put him in the wrong other shift so PotatoGal had trained him as well as some people @ shop.

Turned out he really resigned. He came in to shop a few minutes after I had gone to dept store to inform ShopMgr about his resignation. He had worked less than 1 week.

So now we have 1 less staff. Again.

Wind can blow me away soon

Walking around KLCC, I found a weight scale. Put 2 x 20 cents to find out your weight and horoscope.

I am now 44.5kg with clothes & very light slippers.

It printed out that my ideal weight should be 51.5kg. I know I am underweight since I left 2 previous companies. I thought I would be 42kg but thank goodness I’m not!

Even my big cheeks had slimmed down. Sam commented, “You look very chan.”

“Yeah,” I agreed. I didn’t mind people saying I look tired because it’s the truth.

I need more rest.. Hard to imagine, I had worked 6 days a week, more than 45hrs per week for almost 1 year.

It also had advices on business, love and health.

BUSINESS
Do not neglet your interests to protect someone else’s.

That means if someone made a mistake or did something wrong, I should not keep quiet just to protect that someone. I was musing maybe I should disclose the fact that ShopMgr told us to punch Ralph’s card when he would be late for work. But then, sometimes my colleagues punch my card and vice versa.

LOVE
Do not be taken by appearances. Try to get better acquainted before judging.

I am not even looking for love deliberately. I think this means that I shouldn’t go for handsome guys coz their personality may stink. Or I could get to know handsome guys coz their personality may not be as bad as good as their looks. Haha.

HEALTH
At times you exaggerate, behave yourself.

Huh? Anyone care to decipher this?

There are some lucky numbers which I barely glanced at. I had some heart call to buy 4D before but I never won anything from gambling before.
