Great Thursday

Write down today’s question. And underneath it, write at
least five things that you can think of that are, or could
be, great about today.Topics can include:

  • Your health or someone else’s
  • The way you feel emotionally
  • A bad habit that you’ve controlled recently
  • Someone who has been noticing you that you like, too
  • Positive comments on your work
  • Your new suit
  • Big appointment coming up and you feel prepared! Or,
  • You don’t feel prepared but you have time to get ready
  • Getting together with friends that you haven’t seen in awhile
  • A new day to learn about yourself and what motivates you

When I looked into the mirror, I loved my face. It was getting smooth and clear. I put on my spec and saw some red dots, freckles getting bigger (shit! I should wear more sun screen) and oh, but, I didn’t have those huge bump of pimples anymore!

I’ve got some really supportive readers (you know who you are) and friends even though I’m not as successful/rich as I had hoped. Your encouragements (including constructive critics) mean a lot to me!

I like my new belt, made of a chain supposedly for making bracelets. It comes in 1 long loop which I cut it off so that it becomes a long chain. I added 2 butterfly brooches from Cameron Highlands trip with my then colleagues/friends. Now I feel stylish and individual (coz it’s handmade) when I wear it. *now is your cue to puke or clap* LOL

Chai treated me to a French Toast at a restaurant nearby my place. Also helped myself to her soup and strawberry pudding-jelly dessert. I seldom ask my friends for advices and opinions on personal stuff. I know, you say that’s what friends are for – you gossip about/among mutual close friends, ask advices, give your bullshit or heartfelt or practical advice, help each other out..

However, today, I asked her a personal question and I didn’t get annoyed when she said I should’ve done the other way. Then we went up to her ex-colleagues office and had lots of laughs about match making.

My dog wagging her short tail, holding a bone in her mouth when I came back.

I’ll consult my tarot cards lah

“So you think properly la, what to do next,” my friend advised me.

“Ya.. I’ll consult my tarot cards lah,” I replied her.

“Haha, like when I choose car colour by tossing colour papers.”

When I got home, I took out my Major Arcana tarot set and began to ask for guidance. For the 3rd and last question (some people say it’s maximum 3 questions per day), several cards fell out as I was shuffling. All were downturned but 1 was upturned – facing me! It was the same card in Question 1 but reversed.

It was like a sudden sign. I read it and kept my tarot cards back into the box. Then I found out online that I could continue with the shuffling and see if the same card appeared in the same position (upright or reversed).. oh well, next time.

Lesson 7 – Writing a Question is especially useful in putting the format of a question. Often, when we are in trouble or confused, we think negatively and this reflects in our thoughts, actions and speeches. Opening the mind to positive thinking would reveal more opportunities and insights.
