It’s been a long time since I won anything and suddenly I won double passes for Starlight Cinema promotions!
The free passes are only valid on weekdays but no matter! :D
I didn’t want to watch yesterday’s The Missing or something, so left today – the last day. It’s going to show The Holiday – starring Jude Law, Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet and Jack Black. Romantic comedy. Heard it was so so only.. but got eye candy Judey. Though he’d slutted with so many women while married to Sadie Frost and later dating Sienna Miller.
Who to invite? Mm… Coupled friends were out of the selection. They watched movies during dating anyway. I’d find someone who is single and couldn’t/wouldn’t pay for the ticket but would enjoy the movie outdoor. Let’s face it – not everyone likes to watch movie sitting on the field/floor on your bottom with pieces of paper or pillow, volunteer to donate blood to mosquitoes and.. just being outdoor. Since it could only be used on weekdays, today is the last day! URGENT!
Earlier I had asked the guy who Rock Climbed with me but he didn’t reply. Today I called him and he said, “Well, you should’ve looked for other people already. I thought it was yesterday.” Bitch.
I called Chai. “Do you like Jude Law?”
“Ahh.. so so la.”
“Jack Black?”
“So so also.”
“I got 2 free tickets for The Holiday.”

Then I asked Bum but she had to work late and was afraid she couldn’t make it. Come to think of it, everytime I asked if she wanted to watch movie, she would be ok but cancel at the last minute. Wonder why…
I asked 3 more friends since I thought tonight was Ladies night – buy 1 free 1. All of them replied, “I’ve already watched the movie lah!”
But 1 replied, “When??! I didn’t know they have this event again! Why no publicity? Ok la.”
Yeah, a lot of people didn’t know about it. I didn’t see any ad on tv about it. Only found out about it online… and in newspapers. Less hoo haa, less movies, less duration.
We could eat at the flea market and bring our own food inside! :D
The weather was cloudy in the afternoon.
