BraveSafe’s birthday: Shabu Shabu King, SS2

The 3 of us Amois rounded SS2’s police station but couldn’t find Fo San. BraveSafe joked, “Bao Ja already!”

We had decided to eat steamboat before reaching SS2 – mild and cooked enough for stomach and throat delicate people. BraveSafe exclaimed, “Closed shop already haa!” They called iPay but they murmured that he wasn’t in normal mood.

Finally, we had enough of rounding the police station. We didn’t want the police to think we were thinking of robbing them or what :p So we decided to try Shabu Shabu King.

Motorola SLVR L7

BraveSafe was soooo kind and generous to offer her extra handphone, the present from her ex-boyfriend, to me! :) So sweet!!

It’s a Motorola SLVR L7. I had never used Motorola before – 2 of my handphones were Nokia. If I had to buy, I would go for Nokia or Sony Ericsson, not Motorola but hey, it’s great that I have a handphone to use in the meantime.

“Give you lah, for your birthday!” BraveSafe said.

“Waahh.. cannot lah! I cannot take your present! I’ll return to you once I get handphone.”

“Hehe once you get a job you’ll buy a handphone lorh,” Car added.

Jackie Lee’s English is getting better. On paper. All in perfect grammar and tenses but not realistic as conversation. Except when Jackie’s half black. I jest. Jackie’s blur/clumsy/funny expressions are getting boring. *flat tone* so not funny. Maybe to Americans (and French, Japanese) who didn’t watch Jackie’s older movies wouldn’t mind so much. This is Rush Hour, he can’t just change his character’s personality unless he had amnesia or get taken over by robot or aliens.

Big Lips Carter still has the best lines, joke and dance. Remember he sang and almost burst your eardrums in The Fifth Element (Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich)? Sometimes he’s really annoying and you wish he’d just shut up!
