This was the first time I went for both FJ Benjamin Warehouse Sale (301107) & DKSH Warehouse Sale even though I blogged about them in PASIM hahaa.

When I reached Park Royal, the queue was at the escalator at lobby and I couldn’t even see the front. It was just a line of people.. As I reached the front, I understood what Lynnee said about “Letting people in by rows.”

From 1 long line, people queued up into rows. There were 2 staffs manning at the front and along the rows, 1 security guard to let people queue up into the row or not. There was a staff saying, “Welcome to FJ’s warehouse sale” and “Thank you for coming” with lots of smiles but the staffs couldn’t stop several people from jumping queue.

Unlike the cashier queue, there was no strap or obstruction posts for the entrance queue. Those straps and posts would be better off at the entrance queue than at the cashiers because the quantity of queueing people easily overhelmed the people waiting to pay. It was unfair to those queueing at the front of each rows because the people at the back were jumping queue.

There should be a staff at the front and another at the back to monitor the entrance queue. I saw several staffs also brought guests and they just get in without queueing. At least there were interesting and colourful paintings (at least RM2K each) as we lined up.

The loots

I saw lots of GAP and Raoul clothes, even Paint 8 (kids) but didn’t see any Guess clothes! Lots of high heeled glamourous shoes in bold prints. Lynnee bought a wild print shoes – the type that Mamasan wears haha! Dark blue and brown, black bags and wallets going from RM30. The bags were heavy!

There was another section for La Senza inside and you had to queue to get in. There was no obvious line because the area was packed already. Several guys joined their ladies.. Lots of bright corsets, bras, underwears, soft robes, some casual tops and super short tiered skirts.

Belated L’Oreal Consumer warehouse sale

After that, we thought of having lunch with G but he was working and had no idea when his lunch would be. Lynnee was tempted by Isetan sale – we were having Secret Recipe for snack – and several customers carried the white-blue Isetan plastic bags.

Also bought a colourful suede pouch bag from Lynnee – this was sold at the most recent L’Oreal Consumer Products Division warehouse stock clearance (241007) but I didn’t get any then.

Love the colours :D Just have to be careful not to kena water and oil. Any dirt lah. I wished they made the plastic strap and border in black instead of white. That way, it wouldn’t get dirty or appear dirty easily.

Isetan Lot 10 Sale

Inside Isetan Lot 10, several Caucasion customers were so daring – they pulled out the storage beneath the offer bin for Guess handbags and rummaged through the stock! Saw some customers holding several Guess bags on hand. We joked about telling them to go “next door”. Park Royal is next to Coronade Hotel, which is next to Lot 10. Lynnee even brought the FJ B’s flyer out. Hehhe. But we didn’t tell them larrr..

Thought of shopping at Times Square or Pavilion too but didn’t. Instead, I went to Metrojaya which wasn’t packed and checked out Somerset Bay – lots of 50% & 70% wooo hooo! Pretty, pretty! Didn’t buy any.

Did you know today is World AIDS Day?

NGOs and volunteers were gathering donations and spreading the word about helping people with AIDS. There were also performances and quizzes which I had missed! :(

I believe people who have HIV and AIDS should inform people around them. So that the people in contact know that they could be affected, not necessarily infected. It’s selfish to keep the knowledge that you have HIV & AIDS to yourself – others could unknowingly be infected.

There are still a lot of stigma around AIDS – you can’t have AIDS if you have sex with a virgin, you can’t get AIDS from sharing the shringe if you wash the shringe with soap and water, you can get AIDS from touching, etc. A lot of people still shut an eye even though they suspect their lovers/spouses are not being faithful to them. WAKE UP!

Find out what causes AIDS to spread. Take action to keep yourself healthy and help others do the same. Just because a person has AIDS it doesn’t mean that person is bad. He or she could’ve gotten it from parents or lovers, accidents, etc.
