I’d been dying to go to Big Bookshop X’Mas Warehouse Book Clearance again.
Earlier, I had asked RapidKL’s staff @ KLCC after PC Fair which bus goes to Atria Shopping Mall. The staff gave off several numbers. When I asked the bus drivers, each directed me to take the other bus! Damn shit!
Finally, I ended up back in KL Sentral. I asked the umpteenth RapidKL staff, “Naik bas apa pergi ke Atria?”
“Mana tu? Ikea?”
“Bukan. A-T-R-I-A. A-tria. Dekat Tmn Bahagia LRT.”
“U88.”
I got into RapidKL U88 and ended up at 1Utama. Asked the Info counter lady, she didn’t know. Got into another U8sth bus and the driver said I’d have to change bus at Uptown.
At Uptown, I waited for another U bus – as per the latest driver. At the no-rooftop bus stop along the drain, I checked out the small notice board. No U bus goes to Atria. Instead, T bus goes through Atria.
Unfortunately, no T bus passed by and the bus to 1U came on the other side. Sigh. I ran to the other side and took that bus. Waited for ages for the bus to my housing area.
I was so tired, frustrated, disappointed and sleepy! I was supposed to be getting ready for Gem’s wedding 5 minutes ago!
Thank God someone at home was willing to fetch me home..
kesian! i just came back from it just now. i don’t think you’re missing much lor. if you went to the last one, it’s almost the same books! but the books there are really much cheaper than the other book warehouse sales. not many popular titles, but it’s cheap enough for you to try the books you haven’t heard of.
Hadn’t been to Big Bookshop w/s for months so.. I found BB’s w/s the cheapest among all book w/s too.
