Celebrated my belated birthday with mom last weekend and I wanted to try Delectable but found out it was only a side shop and the food=cakes & biscuits only :/ I had cakes for almost everyday on the birthday week.
So we headed to Han Room, behind LV in The Gardens, Mid Valley. Had been here for dinner with colleagues before and loved the Salad with soft shell crab :D
The menus – fruit juices, dim sum & mooncakes. 99.9% of the time, mom will not order any drink. So it was up to me.
The lady that served us suggested Han Fruit Juice (bottom of the menu, also the most expensive drink in the list) which she said consisted of 3 different drinks, all in very small glasses “only”. Ok, we’d go with that.
Here it is..
Shocked leh.. felt like drinking from chemistry lab’s tubes. The green & orange tubes were more “normal” than the yellow one. The yellow tube tasted eeek :S The kind waitress actually listed out the fruits for all the drinks but I had forgotten them.
The salad, sauce & after mixed with soft shell crab. Really crispy! Yumm.. the sauce was really tasty too – sweet & salty. There was a layer of oil though. I love the big, wooden bowl & utensils!! Why nobody buy this for my present?
The deco is quite high class. When we went it was quite packed but didn’t have to wait for table. By the time we left around 2.50pm, it was quite empty already.
Ah, actually it wasn’t mom’s treat. I treated her, now that I remember hehe.
