A week before Nat’s birthday, Chai messaged us: Want to celeb at beach depart early then dinner on Monday. In Sepang.
Huh? Monday, no need to work meh?
Oh. *slap forehead* Mon was a Public Holiday! Oh yeah! But beach side in Sepang? The water in Klang Valley is dirrrrrrrty! Were we going to the beach as in the water? :S Wait, Sepang got beach? I thought Sepang had F1 & that was all?
Then the plan changed to dinner only. I thought there was no more beach. Sam would fetch me & we’d go together. On the day before the birthday, Sam told me to check with Jim for transport.
I called Jim, “You are going to pick me up haha?”
“Ah but then? Hahah.”
On the day itself, Jim called me, “I’m out, coming already. Are you ready?”
“Now changing.”
“Sam reach there already?”
“Ha? Sam? She never said anything about coming here?!”
“Ha? No??”
Then before Jim arrived, Sam arrived in her bf’s car & waited inside. I was applying lots of sun screen - travelling to Sepang would take around 1hr and the beach in the afternoon! Bad for skin! Anyway, I bought 2 bottles of Maybelline so I didn’t have to worry about skimping the sun screen.
We went to Nat’s office to wait up stealthily - she didn’t know we were coming. Some of us didn’t even wish her the midnight before hehe. Just pretended to forget it. Well, I actually forgot about wishing her. Since we were going to meet on the actual date anyway.
We hid in Chai’s car at the junction road & Nat really didn’t see us when she arrived with NeverZzz! Bear was driving the other car but he didn’t follow us to hide. Instead, he parked at the main roadside - easily spotted!
When everyone left the road to depart, Nat saw our car & she was surprised! Ta da! :p
At the petrol station, she left the car & came over. “Eh, you all here also!”
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” We all chimed.
Chai asked her, “Did you open your present already?” She had passed a small bag with gift & card to Nat earlier. I put the thing that Nat left at my home for months since she never bothered to get it back.
“Got.”
I asked her, “Did you see what’s inside?”
“Got. Got the thing also ahah!”
“Yeah.. did you see clearly? You move 360° and see,” I cajoled her.
She appeared confused.
I twisted my finger & turned it around.
She looked at our car, the road, back at the petrol station and then back at us, “Ha?”
“Look behind our car.”
“OH! BEAR!”
She walked over to Bear’s car. Bear was bringing his gf too! The 1st time to intro to us heehheh.
It took a long time to reach the beach. Surprisingly, the sand wasn’t that dirty but the water was brownish. Eeeee ye.
Found more than 20 dead fishes & prawns along the beach. “Maybe tsunami is coming,” someone lamented.
Turned out Sumatera had earthquake - found out the next day in news.
“Are we going to eat the seafood directly from this beach?” Someone asked.
“Eeee ye. I hope not!” I expressed my dismay at eating something-wrong-seafood from dirty water.
“Hooo.. finally found someone our skin,” Sam looked at another group of tourists.
The whole beach was of Malays. No Indians.
At the end of the beach, we saw a chalet home or something like that. Heard it was damn expensive. Really beachy feel. All brown wood, small ponds with lively fishes and there were small signs of “DO NOT STEP ON THE GRASS”. Wah… those grass must be $.
It was very hot! *wave hand on face to cool down*
Will blog more when I get the pics. Which maybe next eon, considering NeverZzz still hadn’t shown us the pics taken last year!
