Get the detox you need zzz…

1 of the forwarded emails I got:

The main causes of liver damage are:

1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are the main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and
artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil
use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil.
Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very
8. Consuming overly done foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies
should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in
one sitting, do not store.

We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining
good eating habits and time condition are very important for our body to
absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to “schedule.”

Because: Evening at 9 – 11pm: is the time for eliminating unnecessary/ toxic
chemicals (de-toxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This
time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during
this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the
dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a
negative impact on her health. (this is couch potato time!)

Evening at 11pm – 1am: The de-toxification process in the liver, and ideally
should be done in a deep sleep state. Early morning 1 – 3am: de-toxification
process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state. (time to go wet)

Early morning 3 – 5am: de-toxification in the lungs. Therefore there will
sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the
de-toxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need
to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 – 7am: de-toxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel. (just finished the last round at disco/pub. Now, whose place is available?)

Morning 7 – 9am: Absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should
be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before
6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial
to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should
change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9
-10am rather than no meal at all. Sleeping so late and waking up too late
will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that,
midnight to 4am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood.

Therefore, have a good sleep and don’t sleep late.

Parents influence our financial management

How many of you have parents who taught you how to invest (bank, mutual funds, options, real estate)?

How many of your parents actually work to death, saving for retirement and tell you to study hard, work hard to put money into the bank only because other means of saving and generating wealth are not safe?!

Do your parents or anyone teach you the right and many ways to get more money and security?

Saving money into the bank is great. It’s just not the only way to get more money. Putting money into the bank may get you interests but did you take inflation into account? Is the inflation rate higher than the interest rate? Are you actually gaining or losing?

A lot of females are not interested in finance or they don’t know where to find info. In some families, the parents do not talk about money to the children – especially to girls. There’s an old saying in the Chinese society, “You are a woman, let your husband take care of you.”

How pathetic!

Women (and men) shouldn’t depend on other people for money. What happens when your spouse takes control of your ATM card, monthly salary and expenses? Where’s your independence? That’s abuse, not love.

Our school syllabus should teach finance, wealth creation and founding companies. Koperasi is 1 of the ways and it needs to be expanded. Subjects on business, economy and marketing can be spiced up to make them more interesting! A lot of students actually read these books to sleep.

It’s better to know than ignore it because we live in the world of money barter for entertainment, education, food, health, beauty and convenience.

Do you want to blame someone else for your failure and sticking to what was supposed to work? You are an adult now – you can choose to find other ways to get more prosperity and success.

Good luck. Let me know how :)

Slow service, lose customers’ confidence

In response to While waiting for RapidKL bus, I sent an email to RapidKL but only got the reply on 6 Jul 2007. 5 working days later!

My email to RapidKL on 29 June 2007

Hi Rapid KL,

I always take Rapid KL and the schedule in http://www.rapidkl.com.my/area_6_bus_frequency.htm is not accurate for U86. It always takes at least 1 hr from 2pm till 4pm.

Does U88 pass by Metro Prima?

I hope Rapid KL’s schedule gets updated or there are actually services following the published schedule. On another note, it’s a great idea to incorporate the different ticket fares and enable using 1 ticket for 1 day.

Reply from RapidKL to me on 6 July 2007

Thank you for your email. We wish to inform that though we have advertised that the frequency is every 30 minutes during peak hours, there are times where we are not able to achieve the scheduled frequency due to traffic congestions and the long journey, The frequency is between 45 to 60 minutes. Nevertheless, we will try our best to provide our commuters the schedule frequency.

We thank you for your patronage with Rapid KL.

Oh, very sweet. Since I had sent it in the evening, let’s bring forward my email as received on Sat. OK, Sat and Sun are not working days. So… RapidKL took 5 working days to reply me! And nothing on my question for the travelling route of U88.

I had expected not to get a reply at all from RapidKL after 3 working days.

So I sent another email to RapidKL on the same day I received the reply.

Your reply is really slow but at least you replied. Most companies would get back within the same day or next.

Actually I had waited for 2 hours on 2 occassions. I know there can be traffic jam and long journey with all the twist and turn into different areas but 2 hours?

If RapidKL perform efficiently, then the public would have confidence in taking RapidKL.

I got this very short reply.

Thank you for your constructive comments. We have take note of it.

No apology at all for the delay and inconvenience for waiting 2 hours!

I would like to know:

  1. How many staffs handle and reply the emails that come into RapidKL?
  2. How long does it take to resolve the complaints?
  3. How many drivers & buses are there for each route?
  4. Are there enough drivers and buses for the schedule?

When a company takes longer than 3 days to reply, it doesn’t bode well for the company. It gives the impression that the company do not care or do not have the resources to improve services. “Whatever lah! You want to take the bus, take lah! You don’t like the services, go take other buses or taxi lah! &%$&^@*(^”

Having the 1 price for 1 type of bus is really a great idea. It would even be better if RapidKL could live up to its schedule. Maybe there are not enough bus drivers, management sucks, not enough money or brain power?

Can the government please build more train links? It saves petrol and air pollution. It’s faster too.
