Tokyo Autumn 2016 – Day 5 – Tokyo Skytree, Asakusa

Drizzling, cloudy and grey day. Lots of flowers in heart-shaped area. Tokyo Skytree has train station, shopping mall, observation deck (chargeable) and aquarium.

Saw a kid climbed up to the palm and mom took pic. Poor polar bear.

Bumped into this cafe:

The balls are cold too. Creative deco in the mall – can upcycle old deco and wrap it with pretty knits:

Went to Asakusa and the streets were packed, even on Monday! Lots of food.

Outside Sensoji temple, there are paintings displayed protected by glass. This is one of them:

Wave the smoke from joss stick to yourself. I wonder about open burning pollution..

The temple is well maintained, you can see the paint and it’s clean:

Exit to the streets. How nice to stay in such building. Protected by nature (as long as there’s no bug):

The first shop I saw here had lots of ppl queueing up.

Ice Cream! Die me. So many flavours. I looked at them one by one and imagined the taste as I queued up too for the bakery. Couldn’t eat :(
