Gorgeous artwork in 1 of the shops in Kamakura:
In heaven but on the ground:
Now this is serious garden maintenance! Pick the unwanted scraps with forcep.
Reminds me of Pokemon dragon. This cute blue dragon is so kind to spill water for us :)
100yen Dango for 3 sticks (each stick has 3 balls). It’s chewy:
Dango from these two ladies. It's soft and chewy. Info from https://gurunavi.com/en/japanfoodie/s/2016/10/food-on-sticks-in-japan.html: Dango are small, chewy dumplings made from sweetened rice flour. The dumplings are boiled, skewered, and grilled then drizzled in a thickened and sweetened soy sauce. #dango #flour #stickfood #kamakura
I think we took the tougher hiking route. At one point, we thought we were lost but an older couple told us it was correct and we passed through a gate, narrow path and big rocks. It was tiring but felt great.
On a wall:
Pickles n soup. Soup is nice! The streets are full of ppl and q.. We just finished hiking phew and want to sit, have really late lunch. This place has gorgeous menu at the alley from main road to this restaurant, so we decided to eat here. Looks expensive 😯 #Burasseriyukinoshita(Brasserie 雪乃下) #brasserieyukino #kamakura #pickles #soup
Gorgeous display and fresh food
Went back to Tokyo and had drinks at a Thai place.
Then to eat noodles from a row of restaurants, most of them had order from the machine. Then you let the restaurant staff know of your order and you sit. When food is ready, they’ll deliver to you. Seating is usually in a long table or small spaces unless you go to up-scale restaurants ($$$).
Yum. The soup and noodles are tasty.
