- Stop by roadside from Swiss-Garden to Lumut (make sure the’s no car behind!)
- Brunch-Lunch: Burps & Giggles
- Walk around Kong Heng Square Market & Concubine Lane
- Massage: Imperial Reflexology
- Dinner: Super Red Mini Steamboat
There were some baby Pokemon (Pokemon Go) in S-G. 2-3 Pokestops, couldn’t remember. All bad IV – at least for the ones I caught. Oh yeah, the street art spots are also in Pokemon Go. So if you are searching for the street art and play Pokemon Go… achieve 2 things with 1 step :D
Swiss-Garden to Ipoh takes about 1.5hrs!
Kong Heng Square has several booths/shops that sell cheap-affordable accessories, deco, desserts (saw candy floss and ice cream), etc. There’s also Plan B and public toilet.
There are some shops that are abandoned or maybe they (vampires, ppl) come out at night?
Burps & Giggles looks old from a glance but turn out striking in photos. The food is expensive but there’s free wifi, power plug, strong coffee and cempedak gelato!
Cempedak banana gelato was the best dish we ate here!
Walked around Kong Heng Square & Concubine Lane. Trying to catch some street art but they are mostly in other blocks.
First time I see super mini harmonica (3 for RM10 or 4 for RM10). There’s a video playing too:
After much walking (actually not much compared to earlier Ipoh trip), we drove around looking for massage. One thing we noticed when searching in foursquare: the search results when you are not nearby vs when you are there are different!
We couldn’t find the place we wanted. So we simply walked in and this place was practically empty except for the man @ counter, 2 staffs and 1 lady (customer?).

The place is darker than the pic. Service is OK. Free shoulder massage 💆 The girls are from China, speak Mandarin and counter uncle can speaks a litttttle bit English, Cantonese n Mandarin. There are lots of massage n reflexology on this street #footreflexology #massage #imperialreflexology #ipoh
Further down the same road, we discovered MORE massage & spa places! Aiyo…
Super Red Mini Steamboat – RM39.90 per person (adult), all you can eat (yes, buffet) and it has BBQ too.
There are 3 base soup – kimchi (slightly spicy), tomyam (slightly spicy sour) and chicken (not spicy).
We got a pork oil cube for taste and food won’t stick to the paper. There were lots of meat balls, beef, pork, chicken but not enough fish, other seafood, 3-4 types of drinks, some desserts, noodle and rice.
It rained heavily while we were having dinner. After that we went back to the resort and applied mask on face ;)
